Quality German cuisine, regional highlights – that is what the Bistro Ludwig stands for – not only for hotel guests, but also for our Cologne neighbourhood. Now in a new, fresh look: With pictures from the 50ies on the walls. And with Ludwig Erhard observing guests from the other side of the room.


Inspired by the basic principles of the namesake as well as culinary ideas by kitchen chef Frank Marischen, the perfect setting was found for the new bistro: Local and delicious, uncomplicated and quick. Just what guests expect.


Since September 2009 the former Mediterranean bistro has now been running very successfully under the new motto “local and delicious” – according to the needs of our guests.
Experience Kölsch hospitality and enjoy the best regional cuisine – original and lusty! Our kitchen team has the highest quality demands and uses only the best German beef, veal and pork.


The dishes are refined with gourmet mustard from the “Historische Senfmühle anno 1810 Köln” (historic mustard mill). We obtain various types of mustard from the oldest mustard mills around the world, e.g. the “Original Kölner Mostert” or the mill mustard according to an original 15th century recipe.


The mustard varieties in original jars can also be bought in the hotel.
